Enjoy seamless payments in the currency you need

  • Creating your Virtual Multicurrency Card

    1. Open the Absa Mobile App and tap “Add a Virtual Card” to start the process.
    2. Name your card as prompted, make it personal and easy to remember.
    3. Accept the terms and conditions, and your card is ready to use.

  • Top up your Virtual Multicurrency Card

    1. Tap “Top up” in the app.
    2. Choose the account you want to fund from (account or credit card).
    3. Enter the amount (minimum UGX5,000) and confirm.
    4. Your card is instantly loaded and ready for payments. 

  • Transfer funds to another currency

    1. Select “Transfer funds” in your virtual card menu.
    2. Pick your preferred currency (UGX, USD, GBP, EUR, ZAR).
    3. The app creates a currency wallet for you automatically. 

  • View card details for online payments

    1. Tap “Show card details” in the app.
    2. Review and approve the request in the mobile banking app.
    3. Your card details will then be displayed.
