  • How do I earn points on my account?

    As a Platinum cardholder, you earn reward points every time you use your card to pay for purchases. For every UGX1 spent, you will earn 1 reward point. (If you spend UGX10,000 you earn 10,000 reward points.)

  • Is my account instantly credited?

    Reward points are credited to your credit card 48 hours after redemption.

  • How do I redeem my reward points?

    Once you have accumulated at least 1,000,000 reward points, you redeem your points by calling the number at the back of your card - +256 (0)414 259 901.

    The cash rewards are then credited to your credit card within 48 hours.

    Redemption rate: 1 reward point = UXG0.01.

  • Do my points expire?

    Your reward points remain valid for 3 years from the date they are posted to your account, after which they expire.

  • Can I convert my points to cash?

    Cash rewards must be redeemed through your Platinum Credit Card.

  • How do I track my reward earnings?

    You can track your reward earnings by calling the number at the back of your card - +256 (0)414 259 901.

    Buy Now Pay Later is an incredible digital innovation brought to you by Absa Bank. With this feature, you can make purchases using your Absa Credit Card and choose to re-pay in equal monthly instalments within flexible periods of 3, 6, 9 or 12 months using your Absa Mobile Banking App or Internet Banking.

  • Steps to use Buy Now Pay Later

    1. Log on to your Absa Internet Banking or Mobile Banking App
    2. Select the credit card number
    3. Select "Unbilled Transactions" to book a transaction under the Buy Now Pay Later loan plans
    4. Select "Get started" to begin the process
    5. Select a purchase from the filtered list, check if it qualifies and continue
    6. Select a payment plan, then accept the terms and conditions
    7. Select "Convert Now" and confirm the details

     

  • Viewing booked payment plans

    To view successfully booked plans under your internet banking profile, go to your credit card account page, on the 'Buy Now Pay Later' banner, and select "View Now". Booked plans will be visible, with options to view plan details such as: the number of outstanding payments, how much has been paid, as well as cancellation.
